Stardome Observatory and Planetarium

Stardome has been sharing its love and mātauranga of all things space since 1967. 
Located in Maungakiekie One Tree Hill, it offers fully immersive planetarium shows, telescope viewing, music & laser events and hands-on exhibits. It’s welcoming for all ages and in all weathers.

Stardome's space centre hosts a winter season of Matariki shows as well as year-round Māori astronomy shows, giving visitors an authentic way to connect to the night sky in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The vibrant and hands-on public galleries give visitors a chance to connect with the latest observations in science and astronomy. Come and reconnect to the cosmos!
